P2(c) Following Safe Working Practices

The images below are the risk assessment that we did in our planning before we moved on to our filming process. We bring and used this sheet every time when we have to film on the filming day, it helps us to avoid any risks or dangers that we considered before as we also made ways to control these risks.

FLIM PRODUCTION RISK ASSESSMENT

These are the equipment that we used during the filming process of the trailer 'Here · After · Us'. The main hazard that the cameras may happen is broken by accident. Therefore, we held the cameras carefully and put them into the carry bag when we needed to change the location to film. It also helped us to decrease the probability of losing items. As we thought about what the risks were before we moved on to film, we were able to look what the actions that we did to reduce the risks on the sheet that we made.

As this is the second time that we work with Marco and Gladys, we are able to take the experiences that we made during the filming of unit17. We are able to communicate well, even they have difficulties on the shooting day that we planned to have. We did the same things as last time, we asked permissions for equipment and location for booking, and confirmed them 2 days before.  In order to set up a filming schedule for everyone which includes the director, recorder and cast, we have to have a discussion about our manual free-time. For the scenes that we are able to film at school, we have to find out the manual study lessons in the timetable. There is an issue that is different compared to the last time during we filmed our product for Unit17. We all have to get ready for studying exams and doing other coursework during the study lessons. However, we decided that we are going to miss the games lesson and use that 2 hours of time to get the school scenes done in 2 weeks time. We also spent some town time during the weekend, as we are all boarders and it is easy to manage the time on the schedule.

These six screenshots are taken in the school area. My crew and I usually chooose the period that would have fewer people walking around, such as Wednesday games lesson, Sunday Morning, or even after school to do our filming.
